We offer two forms of personal chef made, custom tailored packages:

Gourmet Family Style Dinners-
3 meals for 4 portions each at $225
4 meals for 4 portions each $275
4 meals for 4 portions each $250
Deliver charge of $20 added for outside of KC Metro

Macro Meal Prep for Athletes- $12 and up for each meal plus $20 delivery and container charge. Minimum orders of 10, Custom menu supplied by client's coach or dietitian.

Other mixed size portions and packages available. 
Special occasion meals available.

For basic weekly meal service, I use my own glass containers, which you wash and return weekly. I do not have holding fees or contracts. I charge a $20 delivery fee for those that live more than a 20 minute commute from my kitchen in downtown Overland Park.

What do you specialize in?

Individuals and families with complicated diets. I strive to bring you comforting favorites, seasonal produce, and global cuisine that matches your specific likes and dislikes. I am constantly learning and keeping up to date on all trends and medically researched diets. I am open to any and all requests.

What are you doing during the pandemic to keep everyone safe?

Due to Covid 19, I am working from my certified kitchen, and dropping off using my own glass containers. I will happily deliver and drop off on your scheduled day, and you can pay digitally. Just clean and leave containers for me to pick up and sanitize for the next time. 

Where do you shop for groceries?

I buy from local organic farms, ranchers, butchers, farmer's markets, dairies, etc. I use Sprouts and Costco for bulk and specialty items. I also go to many ethnic markets around the city.

Do you teach?

I do! I enjoy passing on my years of knowledge, and love to help others learn. Everything from knife skills to a holiday feast. I am also really great with kids, it's never to early to get them into the kitchen!

Who I am...

Melissa Houston

 I have over 24 years experience in the restaurant and catering industry. I am a graduate of Culinary Arts from California Culinary Academy (2006) in downtown San Francisco. I also carry nutrition and food safety certifications.
I have worked in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, the Cayman Islands, Southeast Alaska, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Portland, and Los Angeles. I use local ingredients, organic whenever possible, and love to create my own spin on regional and global dishes. My background includes: restaurant management, catering, menu research and design, fine dining and hotel operations. I work with current and past culinary trends, diets, and sports/medical nutrition.
